Kirlian Photography

In the 1930's a Russian scientist, Semyon Kirlian, discovered a photographic phenomenon. While servicing a high voltage machine he was accidentally exposed to a harmless electron cascade which produced a visible aura around his hands which he later was able to capture on film. A Russian biophysicist theorized bio-plasma to explain the Kirlian effect and explained it as a stream of sub-atomic particles that move in and out of living tissue. Many theorized that this bio-plasma could reveal important information about life processes.

Kirlian photography, now more developed, is a process that utilizes pulsed high voltage frequencies and electron cascades to take pictures of radiating energy fields that surrounds objects. At first believed to be found only in living material, these energy fields have been discovered to radiate from nearly everything around us, though living material seems to have larger, more defined fields. William A. Tiller, Ph.D., of Stanford University, states that every organism or substance radiates and absorbs energy via a unique wave field, which then exhibits certain geometrical frequency and radiation characteristics. Whether animate or inanimate, there is a measurable, extended force field that exists around all forms of matter.

We are currently working to get Kirlian photographs taken of swords that are lying in sleep and then after being charged. Until then, please enjoy these Kirlian photos.
